After a recent divorce from an 18 year marriage with the restaurant industry, I am now sleeping with the wine business. What I’ve taken away from my tumultuous marriage is a biting sarcasm that can only serve to enrich the gentle fabric of my readers’ lives.
Cooking is my therapy. Without a le cruset housing an animal who’s sweating to death, I might find myself teetering on the edge of a meltdown. I decided to start documenting the one thing that makes me feel grounded and lucid. So a blog was born, about cooking one of my favorite things; pasta. I might eventually stray from this and throw in a seafood dish or a vegetable side, but for the most part I will post pasta recipes: my own originals, some inspired by my family’s deep rooted culinary tradition, and whatever else strikes me as a delicious concoction. Wine pairings will accompany most recipes, in addition to snarky commentary and alcohol induced grammatical errors.
